Donald Trump, the former US president, took advantage of the occasion on April Fools’ Day this month by sending out a stunning message to a number of people. Trump has been working hard to win reelection to the White House in November.
Axios reporter who posted screenshots of the email from Donald Trump also received a similar letter. It said, “I’m suspending my campaign,” in the subject line.
The email continues, though, in all uppercase, after it is opened: “Just kidding — happy April Fools Day!”
“I have no intention of giving up on the American people. The email continued, saying, “I will never give up and we can’t stand by and let Crooked Joe Biden keep destroying our GREAT country.”
The 77-year-old persisted on listing Joe Biden’s administration’s shortcomings, citing things like “open borders, skyrocketing crime, record inflation, targeted prosecutions, and humiliation overseas.”
“This November, as we all know, a lot is on the line. The email, which was also cited by the Washington Times, stated, “That’s why it is more important than ever for all Trump supporters to stand up to play a leading role in helping us win back the White House.”
