Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will travel to Pakistan in April to finalize agreements for $2 billion investment projects, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced Monday.
“This is going to be a mutually beneficial arrangement for both countries,” the premier, who is currently on a two-day official visit to the Central Asian nation, stated at a business forum organized in association with the Republic of Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
The two nations further strengthened their alliance earlier in the day when they signed a number of agreements to increase bilateral cooperation in a variety of areas, such as trade, energy, tourism, and education.
The document exchange ceremony was seen by the president of Azerbaijan and the prime minister.
