Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has responded to the government’s intra-court challenge challenging the validity of the NAB changes in the Supreme Court.
Imran Khan, the former prime minister, declared that policies such as the NAB changes deterred investors and foreign investment. He requested that the appeals against the annulment of the changes be dismissed. Regarding the appeal to reinstate the NAB changes, the Supreme Court has postponed making a decision.
Imran Khan took the position that, even in a banana republic, regulations are not changed to save someone’s corruption since corruption has detrimental repercussions on the economy.
