The management was concerned when the missing crew member—Mohsin Raza, an Islamabad native—vanished during a layover in Toronto.
On October 13, 2024, Mr. Raza was supposed to board PIA aircraft PK784 from Toronto to Karachi. Nevertheless, he failed to show up for the trip and was discovered absent from his hotel room.
According to a PIA spokeswoman, the missing crew member had to return to Pakistan from Toronto, thus the PIA management opened an investigation into his disappearance. He claimed that the member of the cabin crew was supposed to return to Karachi on PIA aircraft PK-784, but he never did.
According to the airline’s regulations, the spokesman stated that the absent staff member will face severe consequences.
