CHOLISTAN: On Saturday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir introduced the Green Pakistan Initiative in Cholistan, which aims to transform agriculture and give farmers access to a single location for agricultural services.
Speaking at the event, COAS Gen. Munir praised Punjab’s and its farmers’ leadership in modern agriculture and referred to Punjab as Pakistan’s agricultural powerhouse.
The army commander also praised the efforts and achievements made under the Punjab government’s Green Corporate project in a short period of time, calling them encouraging and a sign of progress, and reaffirmed continuous support for the nation’s economic development.
