Pakistan’s domestic exports increased by 8.90% in the fiscal year 2023–2024, indicating a favorable trend in the trade performance of the nation.
With a $3.16 billion increase over the previous fiscal year, the total value of products and services exported reached $38.48 billion.
When the numbers are broken down, the value of products exported was $30.68 billion, while the value of services exported was $7.80 billion. A tiny $210 million gain was observed in the services sector, while the export of goods showed an annual increase of $2.95 billion.
The textile industry continued to be a major contributor, with $16.65 billion in exports. The food and agriculture industries fared well as well, with $7.37 billion in exports.
