Due to road closures, paraplegic patient Noor Muhammad was unable to access critical medical care, which put him in a dangerous scenario. There were no passable roads to Minimarg Hospital, and his health was in jeopardy.
Noor Muhammad was transferred quickly to the Minimarg Army Medical Camp, where he is currently receiving the much-needed care, thanks to the quick response of the Pakistan Army. Plans are in the works to move him to a hospital in Gilgit-Baltistan so that he can receive additional care.
Families of sufferers such as Noor Muhammad conveyed their sincere appreciation to the Pakistan Army for their altruistic commitment and prompt action. Speaking on behalf of the community, Abdul Rasheed recalled the crucial times when a loved one needed emergency medical attention while traveling on inaccessible roads.
“Two days ago, when our patient had a seizure, all the routes to Minimarg Hospital were closed,” said Abdul Rasheed. “We contacted the Pakistan Army, and they rushed our patient to the hospital.”
For people in need during this difficult time, the Pakistan Army’s unflinching support and aid have been a ray of hope. “We thank the Pakistan Army who supported us every moment and helped us in this difficult time,” Abdul Rasheed added.
