Over the weekend, Dwayne Johnson made his way back to his native Hawaii, where he spent time with American military troops at Pearl Harbor on Oahu.
On social media, the 52-year-old actor posted pictures from his visit that showed him embracing, shaking hands, and taking photographs with service members.
In one picture, Johnson was seen interacting with a serviceman while wearing a green lei.
“It’s an absolute honor to return to sacred land and spend time with our soldiers and their families,” he wrote in a poignant message expressing his thanks. Blessings to you and your loved ones. Our greatest privilege is our freedom.
While Moana 2 breaks records, Dwayne Johnson honors the soldiers in Hawaii.
The Daily Mail claims that this visit came after Moana’s Hawaiian premiere.
