It was the first time Kellie Pickler had taken the stage since her husband’s demise in February 2023.
At the notorious Ryman Auditorium, Pickler, 37, gave a performance for “Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline.” Celebrities like Ashley McBryde, Mickey Guyton, Wynonna Judd, and others joined Pickler in honoring the “Sweet Dreams of You” vocalist.
“I would be lying if I did not say I was incredibly nervous right now,” Pickler said in a video shot by Music Mayhem Magazine before her performance. It’s been a while since I’ve been up on stage.”This evening, I am certain he is here with us,” the popular country musician said.
The suicide of Jacobs occurred in February 2023.
