Britain’s King Charles appears to have ignored calls for his abdication in his latest secret move while undergoing cancer treatment.
According to media stories, when King Charles took the throne in 2022, he picked a circular crown.
It is being altered in locations like post boxes, police uniforms, and official buildings where the late Queen Elizabeth’s St Edward’s Crown was displayed.
Now, King Charles has discreetly made a significant modification to government websites, replacing Queen Elizabeth II’s preferred symbol with his chosen crown, which represents his official role as head of state.
The King’s latest secret step appears to dismiss calls for his abdication following last month’s surgery and cancer diagnosis.
The Daily Express has indicated that the website redesign is expected to be completed by March 1 and apps will also take on the change.
