Tuesday’s interbank trading saw the Pakistani rupee gain 11 paise versus the US dollar, closing at Rs277.86 as opposed to Rs277.97 the day before.
The Forex Association of Pakistan reports that the open market dollar buying and selling rates were Rs277.40 and Rs278.90, respectively.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of the euro dropped two paise to settle at Rs291.97 from Rs291.99 the previous day.
While the British pound suffered a 51 paise decline in exchange rates, closing at Rs352.19 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs352.70, the Japanese yen stayed steady and concluded at Rs1.85.
