At the home of a civil judge stationed at the Judicial Academy in Islamabad, a young domestic helper was reportedly subjected to severe torture.
After Rizwana, 14, was accused of stealing valuables, it was reported that she was severely tortured by Judge Asim Hafeez’s spouse. The girl was given to her parents and then admitted to a hospital in Sargodha.
The girl was being treated at a hospital when District Police Officer Sargodha, SP Investigation, ASP City Sargodha, arrived after obtaining information. The police claim that Mukhtar set up the girl’s job at the judge’s house.
The girl’s parents reported to the police that their daughter had been subjected to severe abuse by the judicial officer’s wife following suspicions of theft. According to hospital workers, the girl has done it.
