In Karachi’s Johar Mor neighborhood on Friday, a street heist of approximately Rs15 million resulted in the deaths of a security guard, a bystander, and a suspected robber, according to police.
Abdul Waheed and Khawar Mubeen were named as the deceased. Two of the robbers were captured by citizens, according to police reports.
According to early accounts, the robbers targeted those carrying Rs15 million from a private bank, which is how the heist happened. The police pursued the criminals who tried to steal the money after learning of the report.
Following the altercation, two of the suspects were found in injured condition, while the third attempted to escape into a nearby mall before being detained by bystanders, they continued.
