KARACHI: As street crimes increase in the metropolis, a lady posing as a lift seeker robbed a guy on Friday night in the port city’s Korangi neighborhood.
A copy of the complaint that News has access to states that the incident happened on Friday night at around 8 o’clock when the biker was stopped for hitchhiking close to Singer Chowrangi by a “veiled elderly woman”.
The victim said he granted the woman’s request, but when they got to Korangi No. 5, he told her to get off the motorcycle because he had to head home from there.
“The woman got off the motorcycle and took out a gun from her handbag and placed it on my chest and asked me to hand over [my belongings],” he said.
