KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday, “Asna” has moved far away from Karachi’s shoreline, meaning that the effects of the cyclonic storm are practically ended.
However, because to the prevalent overcast, the Met Office stated that Karachi would likely get moderate rain or drizzle. It claimed that in addition to the rain system, there had been a decrease in the morning’s high, gusty winds, which were blowing at a pace of 12 kilometers per hour from the northeast.
The meteorological agency reported that the cyclonic storm had passed 500 km southeast of Karachi and 350 km southeast of Ormara. However, it continued, it has traveled 260 kilometers southeast of Gwadar.
