The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that gold prices in Pakistan decreased Rs 2,400 per tola (11.7 grams) to Rs 30,300 on Wednesday, while silver prices dipped Rs 36 to Rs 3,314 per tola.
Ten grams of the yellow metal had a price loss of Rs 2,058 to Rs 26,602, while the same quantity of silver saw a price drop of Rs 31 to Rs 2,841.
Following a 2% drop in the previous session, bullion maintained stability on the global market as investors turned their attention to US President Donald Trump’s tariff plans, which have sparked fears of a trade war.
By 1120 GMT, spot gold had barely moved from Tuesday’s more than one-week low of $2,912.69 an ounce.
