Several individuals have been killed in a wave of violence that has shook South Waziristan and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Three people were killed in a shooting in South Waziristan, and three more bodies were found in Bannu District. Three people were hurt and two people died in a different incident in Swabi.
District of Bannu:
In the Mamandkhel neighborhood of Bannu District, three unidentified remains were discovered close to the Kunday checkpoint. The bodies have been taken by police to the District Headquarters Hospital so they can be identified. Authorities think that unidentified attackers discarded the bodies overnight.
Waziristan, South:
A drive-by shooting in South Waziristan’s Wanna region claimed the lives of three people. DPO Asif Bahadur claims that unidentified attackers in a car with tinted windows shot at a Mazda, killing everyone inside.
