An investigation has been opened by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise Department into the disappearance of more than 70 government vehicles after a number of former officials left.
Many expensive government vehicles are missing, according to documents the news agency was able to get, and former high-ranking officials have several automobiles between them.
These automobiles are in the possession of former Secretaries and Director Generals (DGs), according to the records. Adel Shah, former Secretary Iqbal Haider, and former DG Zafar Islam are all accused of owning three or more automobiles, together with former DG Atif Rahman, former Secretary Excise Islam Zeb, and former DG Saqib Raza.
Additionally, a number of other former officials, such as Muhammad Tahir, Sayed Mazhar, Arshad Musharraf Marwat, Yousaf Karim, Abdul Wali Mansoor, Rafique Mehmud, and Shah Fahad.
