CCTV footage of an armed robbery that took place in the Johar Town neighborhood of Lahore is currently making the rounds online, and police are looking into the crime.
Two males riding motorcycles are seen in the video approaching an elderly woman seated in a rickshaw. They took her pocketbook at gunpoint.
The woman protested, and the robbers continued to brandish their firearms, according to the video. With roughly 190,000 Pakistani Rupees in cash, the bandits made their getaway.
Tariq, the victim’s son, has filed a First Information Report (FIR). According to the FIR, the crime occurred while his mother was leaving a bank after exchanging money.
Police are now looking into the event and analyzing the CCTV footage. As of right now, no one has been arrested.
