LAHORE: A CTD spokesman said on Friday that during an operation here on the Dera Ghazi Khan-Quetta road, at least two Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists were killed and two others were able to escape.
The statement said that the two terrorists were murdered by their own comrades firing on them.
In the meantime, explosive materials and a hand grenade were found in the terrorists’ den by the CTD. According to the official, a search operation was in progress to find the other terrorists.
There have been previous instances where terrorists have murdered one of their own associates.
According to security officials, a wanted terrorist from the outlawed militant group Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) was assassinated by his own accomplice in August.
