RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a statement on Tuesday that three troops accepted martyrdom and that 19 terrorists were slain during three different operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
“On January 6-7, 2025, nineteen Khwarij [terrorists] were sent to hell in three separate engagements in KP,” the military’s media wing claims.
According to the report, the security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Peshawar district’s general Matani area in response to reports of militant activity.
Eight militants were shot dead as a result of the army troops’ successful engagement of the terrorists’ location during the operation.
According to the military’s media affairs department, the security forces successfully engaged and neutralized eight terrorists during the ensuing gunfight.
