It was revealed on Sunday that a foreign couple who had cycled across ten different nations to reach Pakistan had been robbed by robbers in the Thatta area of Sindh.
Police claim that Scantamburlo Marie Elisabeth, a French woman, and Polish national Kowalczyk Jakub Tomasz were looted close to the Sajawal bypass. The international couple’s cell phones were taken away by the robber, according to the senior superintendent of police (SSP).
On behalf of the state, the police have opened an inquiry into the incident and filed a first-information report (FIR).
However, a Sindh archaeology department officer told Geo News that the pair was robbed in the Makli graveyard, which has about half a million tombs and other historical monuments in the province.
