The appointment of immigration inspectors at the Lahore airport is a novel proposal by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, which is intended to improve public convenience.
At one of Pakistan’s busiest airports, this step aims to make immigration procedures easier for people and more efficient.
A total of twenty-four freshly graduated Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) personnel are stationed at different airport desks. To guarantee that travelers receive prompt assistance with immigration and other relevant matters, each officer has been assigned to a distinct desk.
The FIA officers will be on hand 24 hours a day to help and advise the public, answering any questions they may have while they are at the airport.
