In the most significant presidential election rerun since 1956, the Biden-Trump sequel is underway.

As their 2024 general election rematch heated up, President Biden and former President Donald Trump exchanged barbs just minutes after securing the Democratic and Republican presidential primaries.

In a statement, Biden attacked his Republican opponent by saying, “Donald Trump is running a campaign of resentment, revenge, and retribution that threatens the very idea of America.”

In a social media post, Trump further attacked Biden, calling him “the Worst, Most Incompetent, Corrupt, and Destructive President in the History of the United States,” criticizing his Democratic predecessor in the White House.


The 2024 rematch is well underway, despite the fact that polls show that most Americans are not particularly excited about it.
