An intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob district on Tuesday resulted in the martyrdom of a security forces official and the deaths of 15 militants.
An official statement claims that the security forces’ operation targeted a terrorist stronghold and that the troops successfully neutralized the danger during the fierce gunfight. The terrorists who were killed also had a sizable stash of explosives, ammo, and guns.
But during the operation, Mansehra resident Sepoy Arifur Rehman, 32, was slain. His sacrifice is being praised as evidence of Pakistan’s security forces’ steadfast dedication to combating terrorism.
A sanitization campaign is being conducted after the operation to make sure there are no lingering dangers in the area.
