Two children from a Pakistani family with ties to Vehari tragically perished in a severe flood in Valencia, Spain, in a sorrowful tragedy. The surging floods carried away the victims, a 6-year-old brother and a 3.5-year-old girl.
The bodies have been successfully recovered by rescue personnel and will be given back to the bereaved family after DNA testing.
In a Facebook post, the Pakistani embassy in Spain verified the story, saying they had been informed about the two youngsters who died in the flood.
In order to respect their privacy and provide support at this trying time, the embassy has contacted the family and withheld additional information.
