MUZAFFARABAD: Waqar Ahmad Noor, the interior minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), has said that India is employing explosive devices to plan sabotage operations and smuggling drugs and weapons across the Line of Control (LoC).
Noor said that India’s military and intelligence services had contributed to the region’s instability during a press conference held in Muzaffarabad, the regional capital.
According to him, there have been 54 instances of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) being installed along the Line of Control since 2016, and these incidences have increased recently.
Indian IEDs have been found and exploded in a number of places, including Chakothi, Nezapir, Chirikot, Rakh Chakri, and Deva, the minister explained.
Additionally, Battal, Kot Kotera, and other localities have seen an increase in these instances.
