India will not play in the 2024 Champions Trophy cricket event in Pakistan, according to confirmation from the Indian Cricket Board.
They have informed the Pakistan Cricket Board that they would prefer to move the games to Dubai due to security concerns.
“This has been our stance and there is no reason to change that,” Indian media said, citing sources. We’ve written to request that they move our games to Dubai.
“There are no issues in Dubai,” the Indian board said, indicating that the city poses no logistical challenges. Everything can be managed without any issues, including hotels and logistics. And in regards to Dubai, the ICC has everything under control.
