The Hindu newspaper revealed over the weekend that Hemal Ashwinbhai, a resident of Gujarat state, perished in a missile attack last week.
On February 23, Hemal’s father told the news that he had spoken to his son three days prior. He claimed that he was stationed 20–22 kilometers (12–13 miles) inside the border of Ukraine and that he would phone him every few days once he had access to a cell network.
The grieving relatives of the surviving guys have now made a request to the federal authorities to let their return home.
According to their families, the tricked guys, who were hired as “helpers in the military establishment in Russia” and ranged in age from 22 to 31, were supposedly transported to the front lines under the guise of “training.”
Dozens of Indians may have enlisted in the Russian army, according to Indian sources in Russia. The Russian Embassy in Delhi has been contacted by the news , but so yet there has been no response.
“That certain Indian nationals have enlisted for support roles with the Russian army” has been confirmed by India’s foreign ministry.
