Despite obtaining bail in the recent Toshakhana case, PTI founder Imran Khan is unlikely to escape punishment, according to Information Minister Ataullah Tarar.
The communications minister told News on Wednesday that there was no possibility of the PTI founder being freed.
Tarar claimed that there was enough evidence against the PTI founder and that the matter involving the sale of state gifts was being heard in a trial court. “The trial is still ongoing,” he continued.
He added that if Imran does not cooperate, the “bail can be cancelled,” especially if he follows in the footsteps of his wife, Bushra Bibi, who has a history of doing so.
The case would go on for a long period, the information minister reaffirmed.
