In an attempt to compete with Israel’s Iron Dome, Iran has launched its cutting-edge Zoubin air defense missile system. Concerns of an imminent military conflict have been raised by this action, which comes after a string of Israeli attacks against Iranian military installations.
The Zoubin system is a powerful defense mechanism against a variety of aerial threats, including as drones, short-range cruise missiles, and low-flying aircraft, thanks to its claimed 360-degree interception capability.
Iranian officials assert that the system’s defensive capabilities are improved by its ability to track and destroy numerous targets at once.
This deployment follows an Israeli attack on October 26 that attacked Iran’s Shahroud Space Center, a facility thought to contain vital military equipment.
To strengthen Iran’s air defense, the Zoubin system has been placed strategically around Tehran and other key locations.
