Iran’s foreign minister warned that the battle could exacerbate tensions throughout the Middle East and stated on Wednesday that actions against Israel and its interests by the “Axis of Resistance” will cease if the Gaza war stops.
The US is allegedly supporting Israeli crimes in Gaza, according to Tehran, while the Islamic Republic supports Hamas, a Palestinian organization, in its conflict with Israel, which has decimated Gaza through an aerial and ground attack.
“An end to the genocide in Gaza will lead to an end of military actions and crises in the region,” Amirabdollahian declared during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Germany.
“Everyone will suffer if Israel’s crimes in Gaza continue, as the security of the Red Sea is linked to the developments in Gaza.”
