On March 29, Pouria Zeraati, a 36-year-old presenter at Iran International, a broadcaster located in London, was stabbed in the leg outside his Wimbledon, south London, home.
After being released from the hospital, Mr. Zeraati posted on news to express his gratitude to everyone for their supportive calls and messages. He wrote, “The amount of your sympathy, kindness, and love in the past few days has been and is the greatest and best energy for my recovery process.”
Mr Zeraati said he and his wife were staying at a “safe place” under the Met’s supervision.
Head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, Commander Dominic Murphy, stated that the inquiry was “making progress” and that he was “confident” that the suspects posed no threat to the nation’s capital or to any of its communities.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), according to Iran International spokesman Adam Baillie, has been attacking the organization’s broadcasters.
