With an inflow of 296,100 cusecs, the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) released 281,500 cusecs of water from different rim stations on Thursday. The goal of this discharge is to satisfy Pakistan’s various regions’ needs for irrigation.
At Tarbela Dam, the recorded water level of the River Indus is 1550.00 feet, which is 152.000 feet above its dead level of 1,398 feet.
Water entered the dam at 192,200 cusecs and exited at 191,700 cusecs, respectively.
At Mangla Dam, the River Jhelum’s water level was 1217.90 feet, 169.90 feet above its dead level of 1,050 feet.
22,100 cusecs was the reported intake and 8,000 cusecs was the discharge of water.
