The audience for Beyoncé’s NFL Christmas halftime show apparently changed significantly this year.
The Single Ladies singer’s concert at her hometown of Houston’s NRG Stadium drew a much smaller audience than it did the year before, according to the news.
According to Nielsen, more than 27 million Americans watched the 43-year-old pop singer’s 15-minute, eight-song medley live, according to a press release released by Netflix on Thursday, December 26.
The average number of people watching the football game was 24.3 million.
However, when she and her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams headlined Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans in 2013, the wife of Jay-Z earned an even larger 110.8 million.
