Ronen Neutra addressed the assembly, stating, “One hundred and forty-five endless days and nights of yearning for our loved ones.”
Omer, Ronen’s 22-year-old son, is in Gaza.
“We send them strength, and ask them to hold a little longer,” Ronen stated.
“Omer, give it one more minute. It is feasible to reach an agreement.”
Talk of an agreement to halt hostilities has been all over the Israeli press since US, Egyptian, and Qatari negotiators met in Paris last weekend.
Although the most recent ideas have not been made public, rumors grew after Joe Biden said that a deal would be reached by Monday.
