He turned himself in to the authorities on May 30 after being charged with animal cruelty in Alabama.
According to court filings, the Tuscaloosa Police Department reported that two dogs that Buggs had rented were discovered on the back porch of the home on March 28 “seriously malnourished” and sickly. Court documents state that a neighbor reported finding a pitbull and a Rottweiler mix there.
