On Friday night, the two actors posted similar photos to their Instagram accounts to announce the news.
They wrote, “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” above a photo of themselves playing tennis.
The pair went on to say that in 2023 they “jointly filed to end our marriage”.
They continued, “We have always placed a high priority on our privacy and have been quietly implementing this change.” We will always be united in our love and devotion to our kids.
We are so grateful that you honored our family’s need for privacy.
Fisher, 48, and Baron Cohen, 52, became together.
Prior to their Parisian wedding in October 2010, Fisher converted to Judaism. The couple’s second child was born in the summer of 2010 and their third child was born in March of 2015.
