FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch mentioned India’s illegal and unilateral actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in 2019 as the cause for the suspension of bilateral commerce during her weekly press conference.
Baloch noted that on August 5, 2019, the Indian government illegally annexed the IIOJK by rescinding Article 370 of its constitution. As a result, a number of actions, including the suspension of trading, were implemented.
She emphasized, “This situation remains intact.”
The major goals of marking the day are to draw attention to the crimes committed by India and to demonstrate support for the people living in occupied Kashmir.
