On Wednesday, irate students broke the glass of trophy cases when they broke into the assistant director of sports’ office at Islamia College Peshawar.
In a letter to the university registrar about the event, the assistant director warned that the irate students could also harm his family.
According to the sports officer, over 20 irate students stormed the office during a meeting with the Afghan Commissionerate, shattering the glass of historic trophies that had been kept for years.
The Assistant Director noted in his letter to the college administration that two months prior, these same students had invaded his house.
The registrar’s office, the controller’s office, and the vice chancellor’s office had all been targeted by the irate students before this incident.
