QUETTA: The military’s media wing reported on Sunday that security forces in the general region of Ghulam Khan Kallay in North Waziristan district had killed at least 16 terrorists during an attempt to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan.
In the Ghulam Khan Kallay region of North Waziristan, security authorities saw a group of terrorists trying to enter the Afghan border, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Own forces successfully attacked and stopped their infiltration effort.” All sixteen Khwarij [terrorists] were sent to hell after an intense fire exchange,” the ISPR stated in the statement, referring to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members.
