In keeping with President Donald Trump’s intention for the United States to occupy Gaza and relocate its 2.1 million Palestinians to other places, Israel’s defense minister has instructed the military to devise a strategy to “permit any resident of Gaza who wishes to leave to do so.”
Israel Katz stated that nations that oppose Israel’s war with Hamas were “obligated” to accept Gazans and that they should have “freedom of movement and migration.”
Meanwhile, Trump declared that Israel would “turn over” Gaza to the United States “at the conclusion of fighting.”
However, the Palestinian presidency reaffirmed that “Palestine… is not for sale” and rejected the plan, claiming it would violate international law.
