According to local medical professionals and the Hamas-run Civil Defense authority, Israeli strikes in Gaza have killed at least 35 Palestinians, including 12 who were escorting arriving aid trucks.
While defending aid trucks against violent armed theft, which UN workers claim is the primary barrier to delivering supplies into southern Gaza, seven guards were slain in a strike in Rafah. Five guards were killed in another incident in Khan Younis.
It “conducted precise strikes on armed Hamas terrorists” who were planning to take over the trucks, according to the Israeli military.
According to the Civil Defense, 15 individuals were murdered in a separate Israeli attack close to the Nuseirat refugee camp.
