Palestinian health officials reported on Wednesday that at least fifty Palestinians had died in the previous 24 hours as a result of Israeli bombings over Gaza. The military claimed that forces were still targeting the group’s members and removing their weapons and ammunition.
Jets struck some 30 targets in the Gaza Strip, including tunnels, launch pads, and an observation post, according to the Israeli military, as desperate diplomatic attempts to end the 10-month-old conflict between Israel and Hamas resumed.
