Anton Yaremchuk, 35, is thankful for the fog as he gets ready to embark on another rescue mission on the eastern front of Ukraine. His team’s clearly designated armored truck was torn apart by shrapnel from a drone attack in December, injuring but not killing anyone.
His words, “We were extremely lucky,”
According to Anton, Pokrovsk, an industrial city, is “being attacked night and day” and is now his frequent trip.
Russian troops are getting closer; they are currently less than two kilometers (1.2 miles) away.
