The 20-year-old Norris Green, Liverpool resident Jacob Graham dedicated his “Freedom Encyclopaedia” manual to “misfits, social nobodies, anarchists, [and] terrorists past and future, who want to fight for freedom against the government”.
According to the judge, Graham is a “dangerous young man” who identified himself as “the first UK home-grown terrorist.”
It might be revealed that the security services found evidence of Graham’s activities during an inquiry into online chemical purchases.
They found out he had hidden supplies in a hidden forest hideout in Formby, Merseyside, and had videotaped bomb-making experiments in his backyard when they raided the house he shared with his mother and sister.
Graham claimed in a document titled “My Plan” that he intended to assault the homes of politicians and government institutions in order to murder at least fifty people.
