Jamie-Lynn Sigler has talked candidly about the most difficult times throughout her son Beau’s harrowing medical struggle.
The 43-year-old actress told PEOPLE that her 11-year-old son has a rare autoimmune disease that sent him to the hospital for 33 days.
“Those were the hardest days I’ve ever had in my entire life,” Sigler, who has been in pain ever since receiving a multiple sclerosis diagnosis at the age of 20, said. I think I’ve never felt so helpless in my life.
Their predicament began in July of last year when the “healthy, active” son of the Love Wrecked singer experienced a week of severe fevers and headaches, followed by an inability to urinate.
