After answering “disrespectful” questions regarding her marriage to Ben Affleck at the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, Jennifer Lopez received a tonne of support online.
As the Hollywood beauty made a stunning debut at the esteemed awards ceremony, people began to ask her if she and the Argo star would stay married.
“So how do you know your last wedding is it?” In response to a reporter’s question, Lopez said, “Because when they say, ‘You know,’ you know.”
She said, “And other times when you didn’t know, you also didn’t know,” before stating that she always enters into partnerships with “the best of intentions.”
The reporter then inquired about JLo’s thoughts on Affleck’s desire to “play up” their marriage, to which JLo responded, “
“And he is my biggest fan and supporter, and he knows that I’m going to express myself,” she added.
Fans were outraged by the awkward interview question and took to X to vent their disappointment. One fan wrote, “This interview was so embarrassing and awkward—if I were J Lo, I would have walked away.”
One person said, “The interviewing here was so cringe,” and another said, “Disrespectful, unprofessional interviewer.”
“This interview team is quite uncomfortable. Find better interviewers, please,” a user remarked.
“Honestly, I hope everyone stops sharing this guy’s interview,” wrote another angry fan. If Ben had been next to her, I doubt he would have asked that question.
