According to reports, Shafira Huang is the owner of some of the jewelry that was taken from the home on exclusive Avenue Road, close to Primrose Hill.
The house owners are paying 10% of the value of any recovered jewelry for information that leads to its retrieval, which may total up to £1.5 million, according to the Metropolitan Police. This is in addition to a £500,000 reward for information that results in the thief’s arrest and conviction.
A family representative told the Metro that they thought the December 7 heist was a “pre-planned professional job.”
“Everyone is OK, but only by 63 seconds a member of staff would have been in direct confrontation with the robber had they entered the room slightly earlier,” stated a spokesperson.
