After dressing in their uniforms and preparing to view their accommodations, Barrowman—who has played several prominent roles in West End musicals—became ill and informed the group, “I’m out.”
When asked whether he would like to see a doctor by former SAS Sergeant Major Mark “Billy” Billingham, Barrowman,57, said, “No… I’m done,” and then, “I just… it’s not for me, I know who I am and what I’m about, it’s not for me.”

Barrowman refuted the claims that he flashed while filming Doctor Who and its spin-off series Torchwood, which he starred in from 2005 to 2011. He called the accusations “bawdy behavior, silly behavior.”
In the quasi-military training challenge series, which singer Gareth Gates won last year, 14 celebrities are vying for first place after his early departure.
Among them are comedian Tez Ilyas, former Olympic gymnast Ellie Downie, reality sensation Pete Wicks, professional basketball player and Love Island star Ovie Soko, and boxer Lani Daniels, the world heavyweight champion. Rachel Johnson is the sister of former prime minister Boris Johnson.
